Publishing Services

We offer a range of services to help authors both current and prospective.

All of our services are provided as part of our publishing process at no charge and we pay our authors a royalty based on book sales.

Peer Review

All Tithebarn Press titles are reviewed by experts at the proposal stage. We’ll manage the peer review process and discuss the feedback with you in detail, including agreeing any necessary changes, and seeking additional opinions if appropriate. Where necessary we also get additional third party feedback on the final manuscript.

Editorial Advice

We provide feedback on content, structure, and language throughout the process from preliminary discussions through to finalising your manuscript.

Copy-Editing

We undertake a full copy-edit of your manuscript, reading for sense, as well as checking for errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar and references.

Language Polishing

We’re able to provide support for authors who struggle writing in English. We’ll work with you to ensure your final manuscript is written in clear and fluent English.

Production and Distribution

We’ll layout your book, including producing an index and a bespoke cover design. We’ll make copies available globally in hardback and paperback as well as ebook versions.

Publishing Talks

We are available to provide presentations covering a range of topics, including:

  • Proposing your book
  • How to adapt your PhD thesis into a book
  • The publishing process
  • Open Access
  • Promoting your book

We can present over Zoom or Teams, and are sometimes available to present in person. We don’t charge for this service (but might need to come to an arrangement on expenses for in-person presentations) and there’s no obligation to publish with us.
